Amidst her feud with Larissa Lima, there were reports of Evelin Villegas’ return to 90 Day Fiancé with Corey, but cheating could ruin their chances.
Time and again, 90 Day Fiancé has shown that not all drama is made just for reality TV. Some couples like Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas are just as volatile off-screen. Corey leaving his tight-knit Mormon family behind in America to settle down at a beachside bar with Evelin in Ecuador was a move mocked by many. While Corey and Evelin have been rumored to have lied about their marriage, both their cheating scandals continue to rock the boat of their relationship. This time around, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Corey seems to have cheated on Evelin again, causing her to dump him, yes… again.

The Mill A, Washington resident apparently spent $40,000 on his Ecuadorian love by the time they showed up on 90 Day Fiancé’s screens. Evelin, 26, and Corey, 32, met in 2014. But upon realizing she cheated on him with not just her friend Raul, but also another man, while they were “on a break,” 90 Day Fiancé fans saw nothing but red flags. Corey claimed he mixed up timelines and reportedly did not take the info well, which let to his filmed meltdown. But as reports of TLC having signed a “mental health waiver” before showing Corey the video circulated, the 90 Day Fiancé star claimed to have “moved long past that.” The troubled couple got back together, but by then, it was Corey’s turn to get caught in his share of cheating scandals.
It started off with Corey meeting his 90 Day Fiancé co-star Larissa Lima in Las Vegas in October 2019. This is when fans thought Corey and Evelin had indeed broken up, as Larissa hinted at him wanting to be more than friends. Evelin didn’t take too kindly to Larissa’s post, and called Colt Johnson’s ex a “friggin wh*re.” Back then, Corey confessed that meeting Larissa was a bad idea, as she claimed that he “used her.” After this, Corey and Evelin showed up on 90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined in June, where the Ecuadorian lady accused him of having a woman’s “intimate shampoo” in his bag. Corey allegedly met up with this woman while on a solo trip to Peru, but he accepted that he still wanted to be with Evelin as the TLC couple continued to quarantine together.
According to Soap Dirt, the couple, who has supposedly been hiding their marriage from the cameras for two years, is filming their wedding on a new 90 Day Fiancé season. But a source suggested to the publication that “Evelin kicked Corey out and demanded a divorce.” The article also says Evelin wants to retract his visa and force him back into the US, all because of his cheating ways. Corey apparently revealed to the on-site producers that “he’d fooled around with another woman when he and Evelin were arguing.” So, expectedly, team 90 Day Fiancé tracked down the girl in nearby Salinas to interview her for added drama. This development rubbed Evelin the wrong way, so much so that “she lost it” and “threw Corey out of their home.” Evelin not wanting the cheating to be caught on camera is said to have been a crucial part of her decision to ask Corey for a divorce. The story also suggests the Sharp crew was supposed to be filming with Corey and Evelin “for two weeks,” but left within five days of the couple’s spat.
Corey is said to be staying with Raul, “who allegedly slept with Evelin” after being thrown out, and has also shared an old photo captioned “throwback to better times” on his private Instagram. Meanwhile, some fans may argue Corey has been making appearances in Evelin’s latest Instagram stories and Lives, especially the ones about her and Larissa’s reignited spat. Does this suggest that Evelin has forgiven her 90 Day Fiancé lover once again and brought him back home? Or is reality TV really not as real as it seems?
