Bachelor Nation recently had reason to celebrate when two alums announced they expanded their family with a new bundle of joy this past Saturday.
Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert of Bachelor in Paradise fame recently gave Bachelor Nation something to celebrate when they announced the birth of their third child this past Saturday. The couple originally met when they appeared on season 2 of The Bachelor spinoff back in 2015. It didn’t take them long to walk down the aisle, and one year after tying the knot, they welcomed a daughter named Emerson in 2017.
Last July, their family expanded to four with the arrival of a boy named Brooks. Roper made headlines when she revealed she gave birth to Brooks in the couple’s master closet, just 75 minutes after her water broke. She recalled the delivery as one of the scariest moments of her life, but was grateful for the team and support she had around her. The couple originally announced that they were expecting another child over the summer. At the time, Roper said that the entire family was excited when they learned they were expecting another boy.

Now, Roper has revealed on Instagram she and Tolbert have welcomed yet another little one into the world. In a post that was also shared on Tobert’s page, Roper stated Reed Harrison Tolbert was born on November 14 at 5:33 a.m. She also noted he arrived at home, though hopefully not in the closet. Following the initial pregnancy announcement, Roper maintained complete transparency with fans via social media. The former Bachelor in Paradise star shared everything from the heartburn she experienced to the photographs of her family’s gender reveal party. Along the way, both Roper and Tolbert shared their growing excitement with Bachelor Nation. Their enthusiasm was a bright spot for fans who have followed the couple’s journey since the beginning.
Unfortunately, pregnancies have not always gone according to plan for the couple. The two opened up about a miscarriage that occurred in 2015 after filming the reality show. Roper admitted that, at the time, she didn’t grieve because she was unable to process what had just happened. “It wasn’t until I had Emerson that I realized how much I love my child and how amazing of a miracle it is, and I think I really grieved that child much later,” Roper said. With this latest news of the healthy delivery, Bachelor Nation can breathe a heavy sigh of relief. Roper and Tolbert also continue to prove true love can be found on reality television, including on Bachelor in Paradise. They continue to be one of the franchise’s strongest couples, which hopefully won’t change any time soon.
