Players can explore the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla while riding a giant Wolf Mount. This guide will show where players can unlock it.
Players can mount a wolf as their loyal steed in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This guide will show where players can find the wolf mount. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is the new major entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Prior to 2018, Ubisoft would release a new game in the series every year. In the mid-2010s, fans began to feel the burnout of releasing a new entry of the series, as new titles were riddled with glitches and game-breaking bugs. From this, Ubisoft began to release new mainline titles bi-yearly, giving their teams time to work out any bugs and spend time developing the game to make it the best it could possibly be. It has been 2 years since the release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the last mainline title of the series. Here’s where players can find the wolf mount.

Players can literally wide a giant wolf, so much more flare than riding a basic horse like every other mythical adventure. While the wolf mount itself doesn’t feature any special abilities outside of howling if the player goes too far away, the wolf mount is the same as the horse. It’s almost a bit jarring how large the wolf mount is. Here’s where players can find it in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How To Unlock The Wolf Mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The Wolf Mount can be unlocked in two different ways in the game.
- Purchase the Ultimate or Collectors Edition of the Game: These versions of the game come along with the Berserker Gear pack. This pack comes along with a unique weapon, skins, and the Wolf Mount.
- Ravensthrope’s Opal Merchant: Early on in the game, the merchant will set up early in the player’s settlement. Opal is the main currency of the game and the merchant will have new supplies to purchase every now and again. Continue to check until the Hati Wolf mount is for sale and purchase it here. Players can grind for Opal by completing daily and weekly challenges similar to titles like Fortnite and Warzone.
While the Assassin’s Creed series is Ubisoft’s largest yet, it is also the one that is constantly churned out. This has led to consumer burnout, leading Ubisoft to release a new entry to the series every 2 years rather than the original 1-year wait. The game was praised for its graphics and story but still suffered from the same technical issues that have plagued the series for generations. Ultimately, it is up to the player to find what they enjoy more in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
