Gamble, loot, and explore new areas to collect silver in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and purchase items to strengthen Eivor and the Raven Clan.

While Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is set in 873 AD, money still made the world go round. Players can collect wealth in multiple different forms throughout Europe to fund Eivor’s exploration. Look for silver in Norway, England, and Asgard using Raven Vision and these tips.

Many of the larger amounts of loot are marked prominently on the world map in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. But, there are also smaller amounts of silver scattered throughout the small settlements of Vikings and Anglo-Saxxons. Using their raven and their raven vision, players can easily identify the loot around them and plan out their money-making opportunities.

RaidsOne of the easiest ways to gather silver and other resources is through raiding Anglo-Saxxon settlements. Hop in a longship with Eivor’s crew and cruise up and down England’s rivers to find monasteries and other small villages ripe for pillaging. With the help of other Vikings, take out enemies and search every building for spare coins lying around in containers. Break pots and crates to find small bags of loot hidden in corners of rooms, and loot the bodies of the enemies Eivor has killed. Once raven vision has confirmed that all of the loot has been gathered, climb in the longship to head to the next unwitting victim, or return to Ravensthorpe to use Eivor’s hard-earned cash.

GamblingThere are many locations in England and Norway where Eivor can gamble away their winnings. To earn silver quickly, Eivor can compete in flyting competitions by speaking to some loud-mouthed poets, usually located in well-frequented public spaces in large cities, and accepting their challenges. Make sure to pay attention to what they say, so that Eivor’s response rhymes and has the right rhythm. Bet small amounts of money when Eivor is just getting started until they get the hang of things, and then feel free to bet the whole cow, as the flyting rules stay much the same throughout the game. This will also raise Eivor’s charisma and can help them persuade others.

Eivor can also participate in dice games and drinking games for money. Drink offs can result in some funny visual effects, causing Eivor to slur their words and their blurry vision to sway every so often. Dice games are more strategic and are more of a fully-fleshed out mini-game within itself. Bet small amounts until the game makes more sense.

Main StoryPlayers can also earn a lot of silver from simply completing main story quests and collecting loot along the way. Send Eivor’s raven out to get a bird’s eye view of a town before missions and collect loot while traveling between locations. Through battles, Eivor can also pick up loot in new areas, explore hidden passageways, and break into houses.

With silver, Eivor can buy weapons, play games, and improve their settlement. Look out for hidden loot along the way, and mark anything that stands out on the map.
