Brittany Banks of 90 Day Fiancé says her boyfriend Yazan Abu Hurira doesn’t value family and religion as much as fans believe he does.
Brittany Banks has been under a lot of pressure due to her relationship with her Jordanian boyfriend, Yazan Abu Hurira. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple has been at odds due to their extremely different cultural backgrounds. Now, with their conflicts displayed on television, Brittany is opening up about the Yazan she says fans haven’t seen.
Brittany and Yazan were off to a rough start on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. After arriving in Jordan to be with Yazan, Brittany was thrown into a culture and society she wasn’t yet ready for. While stalling her marriage to Yazan due to her still being legally married to her ex, Yazan’s parents grew impatient and angry with Brittany for keeping their son waiting. After attempting to get to know Brittany, Yazan’s parents were turned off by what they felt was a lack of respect Brittany had for their culture, in addition to the racy social media pics they discovered. After a shouting match ensued, Yazan’s parents were done with Brittany and their relationship. Yazan’s father later threatened his life after throwing him out due to his continued romance with the Floridian.

Brittany recently opened up about how “stuck” she felt as a result of the sacrifices Yazan made for their relationship. However, according to her, Yazan is this devoted to every girl he dates, and he doesn’t value his family and religion as much as fans think. “Honestly, I feel like Yazan is like that with any woman that he loves, you know what I mean?” she told ET. “He was like that with his ex-girlfriend. He was hooked on her, he really loved her.” The TLC star went on to explain how Yazan becomes infatuated with every woman he dates.
“[When] he’s with me, he really loves me, he wants to make a new life with me, he wanted to make a new life with his ex as well,” she shared. But, from what she sees, Yazan isn’t as devoted to his parents and religious practices as he leads viewers to believe. “I don’t think that he values his family and religion as much as people think he does,” Brittany declared.
Fans have watched as Yazan battles with conflict from his family to marry Brittany while she wants to wait a year to get more comfortable with Yazan and his culture. Fans have criticized Brittany for not being respectful of his culture while her friend Angela adjusted very well. Still, it’s possible that things might not be as straightforward as they seem in this relationship.
